The Story of Allure

A signature of Catherine Best’s work is the astounding use of unusual stones. In a ground-breaking work, ‘Allure’ uses one such unusual stone - Peridot.

The pendant brings together the ancient majesty of Cleopatra with mystical energies using a lime-green Peridot in 18 carat gold with stunning diamonds. Beginning as a spark of inspiration in Catherine’s mind, ‘Allure’ started to come to life as a hand-drawn illustration in Catherine’s notebook and it was turned into reality by a close-knit team of jewellery craftsmen with decades of experience in her Channel Island workshop.

Catherine oversaw the whole creation process from the gold being milled and sawn to the stones being set under precise microscopic view and then highly polished. No piece goes out without her being happy it is of the highest workmanship. Allure really shows off this superb quality and attention to detail.
