The Story of the Mill Studio

In Guernsey where Catherine began her innovative designs, her studio and showroom are housed in an early 19th Century mill that is steeped in personality. It’s the smooth roundness of the curved walls that never seem to end or begin, that Catherine loves.

The historic old steam mill sits in the fresh air of St Martin’s parish, only 5 minutes from the town. ‘We feel so lucky to be in such a prominent landmark. The setting here is magical’. The mill’s ancient local stone tower is at the end of a peaceful lane, and has immense charm and presence.

Visitors clearly see that it’s a hub of a family business that has been driven from the heart for more than two decades. ‘Our friendly employees provide a personal service which is focused on providing customers with a great experience,’ says Catherine.
