The Story of Nebula

Catherine hand-picked this mesmerizing 19.62 carat boulder opal from a few stunning opals of quality rarely seen. Interestingly, this opal was formed in Mexico as silica-rich waters ran into the earth’s natural faults, eventually creating a beautifully intricate stone.

Having lived near the sea for most of her life, Catherine wanted to visually represent the natural mystery of the ocean’s great depths as soon as she saw this gorgeous opal.

The result is ‘Nebula’ which combines the beauty of the sea with an intimate healing power.

The stunning yellow gold pendant setting is set with corner diamonds - and the simplicity of the setting makes the opal’s complex fluid beauty appear to float. It is a magical combination of blues and greens, like looking into the ocean.
